Nissan announced that Dan Mohnke, currently Vice-President, Nissan Chief Marketing Manager (CMM) & Operations, will take on additional responsibility for US Sales and become Vice-President, Sales & Marketing Operations, US, effective immediately.
In addition
to his current responsibilities as Chief Marketing Manager, Mohnke will now be responsible for day-to-day sales functions of the Nissan Division in the US, as well as Vehicle Operations and Light Commercial Vehicle and Fleet functions. He will be the top US sales liaison working directly with the regional vice presidents, the US headquarters Sales and Dealer Network Development teams and all key stakeholder groups to ensure collaboration and coordination on sales objectives and deliverables.
Mohnke replaces Derrick Hatami, who has left the company to pursue other interests, and will report to Fred Diaz, Senior Vice-President, Nissan Sales & Marketing and Operations US, Nissan North America.
"Aligning Sales and Marketing Operations into a singular role allows us to maintain momentum as we continue to enhance our performance and further accelerate sales growth in the US," said Diaz.
Mohnke joined Nissan in July of 2006 in the area of Dealer Network Development. He holds a bachelor's degree in marketing and management from Northwood University and a master's degree in business from Michigan State University.
