The all-new BMW X6 launched in India @ Rs. 1.15 crore

The all-new BMW X6, the only Sports Activity Coupe (SAC) in the world has launched in India. Newly defined second generation of the first Sports Activity Coupe, the all-new BMW X6 is available at BMW dealerships across India as CBU (Completely Built-Up) units now.

The striking
Sports Activity Coupe confidently rules the road and is destined to stand out everywhere it goes. Its unique concept - a blend of the very best of an athletic coupe concept coupled with the powerful dynamism of a BMW X family.

The all-new BMW X6 is available in alpine white as non-metallic paintwork and in the four metallic paintworks - carbon black, flamenco red brilliant effect, space grey and mineral white.

The extrovert design of the all-new BMW X6 perfectly combines quintessential BMW X qualities with the athletic elegance of a BMW Coupe. The front view is dominated by a wide kidney grille and large front air inlets with horizontal chrome trims, horizontal lines along with rear L-shaped taillights with three-dimensional LED Adaptive Light banks emphasize the wide stance and convey a powerful, solid appearance.

The interior boasts a subtle elegance than its predecessor. The sense of exclusive sportiness is generated by the hallmark BMW driver oriented design of the cockpit, the innovative control and display elements, elevated seating position and lines which streak dynamically from the instrument panel into the door panels to form a ring around the interior. Special interior colours, exclusive trims and standard Dakota or optional Nappa leather upholstery.

Despite its elegant coupe character, the all-new BMW X6 is uniquely, surprisingly spacious. With the seat backrest in an upright position, the luggage compartment in the BMW X6 offers 580 liters of storage space. Depending on various requirements, the three sections of the backrests can be folded down in a 40:20:40 split and offers impressive 1,525 liters of luggage space when all three sections are folded down.

The Driving Experience Control included as standard comes with an Eco Pro mode which enables additional fuel-saving features such as a coasting function Eco Pro Route, Active Cruise Control and Route-Ahead Assistant (only with Navigation System Professional).

The BMW TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder in-line diesel engine in all-new BMW impresses with outstanding responsiveness and agile power delivery at any engine speed and astonishing efficiency. An output of 230 kW/313 hp produces a maximum torque of 630 Nm at 1,500-2,500 rpm and accelerates from 0-100 km/hr in just 5.8 seconds to a top speed of 240 km/h.

The new eight-speed sport automatic transmission stands out with its exceptional precision and impressive fast-shifting ability. At any time, in any gear, the transmission collaborates perfectly with the engine enabling it to develop its full power and efficiency. The driver can also take over manual control or gear changes using shift paddles.

The 'Adaptive suspension package Comfort' combines Dynamic Damper Control with air suspension for the rear axle provides ultimate drive comfort.

The intelligent BMW xDrive four-wheel drive system adapts perfectly to even the most challenging road surface conditions, ensuring outstanding traction at all times. Split-second response times allow xDrive to distribute drive power flexibly between the two axles for optimum grip. In this way, xDrive combines the advantages of all-wheel drive - traction, directional stability and safety - with classic BMW agility.
