Kia Motors (UK) Limited has appointed Sally Miller to the role of Head of Communications at the company's head office in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey.
Sally joined Kia in April and leads a team of ten within the 21 strong Marketing and Product team. Reporting directly
to Mark Hopkins, Marketing Director, the new Head of Communications role is responsible for all marketing communications including ATL advertising, digital, social, CRM, Search, media buying, dealer marketing, website, events and sponsorship as well as the Fleet and After-Sales marketing programmes.
"Sally is a fantastic leader for our team bringing a wealth of brand marketing experience to our business," said Mark Hopkins.
Sally added, "This is an exceptional time for Kia with a dynamic, progressive product range which is going from strength to strength. I'm looking forward to further evolving the brand through innovative marketing communications and the dealer network."
Sally brings to Kia extensive experience from her previous roles in brand management and marketing communications within the Automotive, FMCG alcohol, Financial Services and Entertainment sectors. Her integrated experience covers a wide spectrum of areas from brand and tactical ATL (TV, outdoor, radio and press advertising), digital, search, content, social, PR, partnerships, events and sponsorship.
Her most recent roles were as Senior Advertising Manager at Barclaycard where she launched Bespoke Offers and the Freedom Platinum card and at Volkswagen where she was Marketing Communications Manager.
