Apollo Tyres introduces high-mileage passenger car tyre

Apollo Tyres introduced a high-mileage passenger car tyre, Apollo Amazer 4G Life, for the Indian market. This tyre has been developed jointly by the company's Global R&D Centres in Chennai, India and Enschede, the Netherlands, especially for the
mileage conscious customers and promises to run up to 100,000 km and beyond.

The Apollo Amazer 4G Life tyres with excellent cut/puncture resistance, superior grip ensuring safety and minimum noise, is being offered with 2 years unconditional warranty and would be available in 5 sizes initially. These tyres would be sold through Apollo Zones/Points, company's premium branded outlets, and other select dealers.

"This tyre is a result of an intensive market study done by our internal team in the past 2-3 years to assess the gap in the tyres available in the market. This product gap, along with feedback from the customers, was utilised by our R&D team to develop this technologically advanced tyre, with superior longevity, especially for the Indian road conditions," said Satish Sharma, President, Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa, Apollo Tyres Ltd.

Available in T speed index, the Apollo Amazer 4G Life tyres' next generation tread compound and the six-layered protection improves resistance to cut/punctures, thereby ensuring durability. The robust buttress area decreases the likelihood of pinholes and micro punctures. The square footprint with equal pressure distribution provides longer life to the tyre and also results in even tread wear. In addition to being simulated in the company's Global R&D Centre, these tyres have also been tested on real life road driving conditions extensively.
