Kumho Europe's former Marketing Director returns as President

Charles Kim has been appointed as President, Kumho Tire Europe. Kim, who served as the company's European Director of Marketing from mid-2011 to the end of 2012, took up his new post on March 2, 2015.

Renowned as a tough-talking but highly respected
operator, Kim has been a Kumho employee for some 24 years. Following five years with the company in his native Korea, he was appointed Sales & Marketing Manager of Kumho Australia. He was then posted to the USA, where over the ensuing five years he held the posts of: Manager, Purchasing & Operation; Manager, Overseas Sales for North America; and Senior Manager for Marketing, Kumho North America, prior to serving in Europe. In early 2013 he moved to Vietnam, where he was responsible for planning, finance, human resources and sales at Kumho's ultra-modern tyre plant.
