Raj Banerji has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Apollo Tyres Ltd. He takes over from Sunam Sarkar, who was recently redesignated as the President & Chief Business Officer.

Raj's last assignment was with one of India's largest private companies, where he worked as Chief Financial Officer for the Refining business. Prior to that, he had a 20 year career with BP (formerly British Petroleum) in various leadership roles in Oil Exploration, Commodity Trading, Marketing and Refining. With a total of 24 years of working experience in Europe, Middle East, and Asia, Raj has handled key functions such as Investor Relations, Corporate Finance, Planning & Performance Management & Risk Management.
Raj Banerji will report to Neeraj Kanwar.
