Honda Cars India clocks 18 per cent sales growth in October 2014

Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) registered monthly domestic sales of 13,242 units in October 2014 witnessing a growth of 18 per cent. The company sold 11,214 units in the corresponding month last year.

The company also achieved the milestone of crossing 1 lakh units
in the current financial year where it registered an overall growth of 43 per cent during the period April-October 2014 with 101,442 units as against 70,831 units during the corresponding period last year.

"We have clocked excellent sales during the year so far where all our products have received tremendous response," said Jnaneswar Sen, Senior Vice-President - Marketing & Sales, Honda Cars India Ltd.

HCIL also exported a total volume of 357 units during October 2014.
