Daimler and Peking University, the first modern university in China and one of the country's most prestigious, commemorated twenty years of the Daimler Scholarship Program. Since its establishment, the program has annually selected 24 students from the freshman class
to receive scholarship - 12 of these on the basis of merit, and the other 12 in view of financial hardship. To date, over 400 students participated in the program that backs students with a four-year-scholarship.
"A sustainable and seamless talent pipeline is always the basis for long-term success. As an integral part of our companies' philosophy, we highly value and continuously support educational programs globally," said Hubertus Troska, Member of the Board of Management of Daimler AG, responsible for Greater China. "The two-decade long partnership with Peking University proves clearly our dedication to the promising and exceptional young talent that this renowned faculty and China have to offer."
