Seat President Jurgen Stackmann unveiled the new Leon X-perience at the Paris Motor Show.
The arrival of the new Leon X-perience signals the growth of the Spanish compact Leon model range, which strives to continue offering new solutions to match the growing
number of customers in the market. Built on the ST estate bodystyle, this new Leon version features a heightened all-road aesthetic with 27 mm greater ground clearance than the base version and permanent four-wheel drive. Equipped with TDI and TSI engines with a power output ranging from 110 to 184 ps and manual or DSG gearbox, the Leon X-perience is a car with its own, unique personality thanks to its design, technology, optimum usability and surprising versatility.
"Our New Leon X-perience is a versatile car with a perfect combination of emotional design and great functionality, distinctive off-road looks and a high quality interior. The best value for business or leisure, family and sports including a comprehensive range of state of the art driver assistance systems. The new Leon X-perience will be the next step of our Brand strategy to consolidate the success of the whole Leon line," said Jurgen Stackmann.
The Seat Leon X-perience, which will be available from Seat dealerships during the upcoming month of November, is equipped with the fifth-generation Haldex coupling, one of the most modern and efficient permanent four-wheel drive systems of its kind in the world. It features a newly developed multi-plate clutch with hydraulic actuation and electronic control. Furthermore, the Leon X-perience comes as standard with state-of-the-art driver assistance systems. The dynamic control four-wheel EDS (electronic differential locks on both axles), XDS (expanded electronic differential lock for better traction in corners), ESC (electronic stability programme) and the multi-collision brake all deliver maximum safety.
With a varied and extensive range of three bodystyles on offer, high-performance versions such as the Cupra and the exceptionally fuel efficient EcoMotive and TGI versions, the Seat Leon has become the benchmark within its segment, backed by the excellent sales figures it is registering internationally.
