Honda Cars India registers 45 per cent sales growth in September 2014

Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) registered monthly domestic sales of 15,015 units in September 2014 witnessing a growth of 45 per cent. The company sold 10,354 units in the corresponding month last year.

"We continue to perform strongly with strong demand for
all our models during this festival period," said Jnaneswar Sen, Senior VP - Marketing & Sales, Honda Cars India Ltd. "Our top performer Honda City successfully resumed its production during September 2014 and in coming months we will be able to ensure better availability and timely deliveries to fulfill the huge demand," he added.

HCIL also exported a total volume of 380 vehicles during September 2014.
