JLR India launches locally manufactured Jaguar XJ 2.0L petrol @ Rs. 93.24 lakh

Jaguar India announced the launch of the locally manufactured Jaguar XJ 2.0L Petrol LWB Portfolio at a price of Rs. 93.24 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai, Pre Octroi).

"We are excited to introduce the locally manufactured Jaguar with a 2.0L petrol engine, a first in its segment,
at an attractive price point.The recently launched XJ 3.0L Diesel received an overwhelming response from customers across India. The introduction of the all-new 2.0L petrol engine is keeping in mind our endeavour to broaden the appeal of this fabulous car to customers who are more inclined towards driving a car with a powerful petrol engine at its heart," said Rohit Suri, VP, Jaguar Land Rover, India.

The 2.0L i4 petrol engine with a maximum power output of 177 kW @ 5,500 rpm and maximum torque of 340 N m @ 1,750 rpm, is an all-new state-of-the-art turbocharged engine, combining six cylinder refinement and performance with four cylinder economy. The engine combines three key powertrain technologies; advanced low-inertia, high pressure direct fuel injection and twin variable valve timing to provide outstanding turbocharging drivability with strong low rpm performance and a broad, 'torque rich power band'.

The new 2014 Jaguar XJ features a range of enhanced interior features focused on the rear cabin of the car. New features in the Jaguar XJ include electrically adjustable rear seats with massage function in three intensity settings, increased rear headroom, Rear Seat Entertainment with two 25.9 cm (10.2) LCD screens, electric rear side window blinds, soft door close, 825 Watt Meridian Surround Audio System, LED reading lights in the rear and newly designed business tables in the rear.
