Subaru of America reports growth of 5 per cent in June '14 sales over June '13

Subaru of America, Inc. reported 41,367 vehicle sales for June 2014, a 5 per cent increase over June 2013 and the company's best-ever June sales.

Year-to-date sales for Subaru total 238,008 - a 16.3 per cent increase over the same period in 2013. The company
has now seen 31 consecutive months of year-over-year growth and is well on its way to its sixth successive annual sales record.

Year-to-date, the Forester model increased sales 46.6 per cent over the same period in 2013. Sales of the small crossover, XV Crosstrek were also notably strong with 33,765 vehicles reported sold year-to-date. The 2015 WRX and STI models are also performing well, with sales up 38.5 per cent year-over-year.
