Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Plant in Turkey produces one-millionth vehicle

Hyundai Motor Manufacturing plant in Turkey, Hyundai Assan Otomotiv Sanayi (HAOS), has produced its one-millionth vehicle with a ceremony held at the facility, participated by company executives and workers.

After doubling the capacity last year to more than 200,000
units with an investment of US$ 609-million, the plant has added the all-new i10 to its production line-up alongside the i20. The one-millionth vehicle out of the line has become an i10 model, which was produced to be exported to Germany.

"The single millionth car roll-out is an important milestone of Hyundai Motor's endeavors to the Turkish auto industry. We will continue to focus our efforts to produce world-class products to European markets," said Won Shin Chang, Head of Hyundai Assan Otomotiv Sanayi (HAOS).
