Steelbird launches helmets range for women riders

A helmet is a small price to pay compared to the cost a head injury could entail. A helmet can save the life of a two-wheeler rider in case of accident, provided it is of standard quality. Though wearing of helmet by a woman is not a compulsion in certain cities but in
the wake of increasing women riders and accidents cases on the roads, women may soon have to wear helmets. The main risk factor for motorised two-wheeler users is non-use of helmets and head injuries are the major cause of death, injury and disability among them.
