Hyundai Motor America announces February sales of 49,003 vehicles

Hyundai Motor America announced February sales of 49,003, down six per cent from a year ago while up 11 per cent over January.

"I don't like to make excuses, but the awful weather we saw across the country really hurt traffic to our dealerships and ultimately kept our
sales at a pace well below what we were expecting," said Bob Pradzinski, Vice-President of Sales.

Despite a tough month, Hyundai saw sales of its two smallest cars, Accent and Veloster, up 20 per cent and two CUVs, Santa Fe and Tucson, up 12 per cent.
