Citroen UK has recruited Rylatt and Sons to operate its sales contract in Spalding, Lincolnshire. Rylatts, a family business established nearly five years ago, already successfully operates the Ford franchise. It has also been a Citroen Authorised Repairer for almost
two years, prior to taking on the new vehicle sales contract.
Rylatt and Sons has already delivered outstanding results on the aftersales side of the business, consistently placing in the top five Citroen dealers for aftersales customer satisfaction and growing its share of the area's service parc month after month. It moved into a brand new purpose-built showroom earlier this year.
"We spotted an opportunity for Citroen in this area back in 2010 and the results we are getting on the aftersales side of the business prove we made the right decision. Citroen has a great product line-up and it was a logical step for us to progress to taking on the new vehicle contract," said James Rylatt, Managing Director of Rylatt and Sons.
Citroen's Head of Network Development, Jonathan Sloan, added, "The Citroen franchising department is exceptionally busy at the moment, as it's a great time to be a Citroen dealer. Both new and used volumes, and the financial return the network is making, continue to rise. Rylatt and Sons is the seventh new dealer we've welcomed to the network in the last year, and we know that if they approach the sales opportunity in their area in the same way as they have approached the aftersales business, they have a great future ahead."
Citroen's remaining open points include locations in Scotland and London.
