Hyundai Motor Europe has appointed Adrian Porter to the newly-created position of European Fleet Director, based at the company's European headquarters in Offenbach, Germany.
Porter, 45, will have responsibility to lead the Field Fleet team, as well as the Analysis and
Remarketing Division, and will report to Vice-President of Sales & Fleet, Thomas Schmid. He joins Hyundai with an extensive knowledge of the European fleet and used-vehicle markets, having previously held positions at Automotive Resources International (ARI), Daimler AG, Honda and Ford.
"Hyundai's primary aim for 2014 is to continue enhancing the quality of its operations in Europe. Sustainable growth in the fleet business is a core part of our business strategy, and Adrian will direct a number of qualitative improvements to our fleet operations," said Thomas Schmid.
Adrian Porter added, "This is a great opportunity and I'm delighted to join Hyundai Motor Europe in this newly-created role. We're aiming to raise the profile of the Hyundai brand in the international fleet market, competing head-to-head with major players in the industry."
