Fresh from announcing the V-Strom 1000's final specification at the Le Mans 24 Hour race just over one week ago, Suzuki has confirmed the recommended retail price for its latest adventure bike as well as confirming the colour schemes coming to the UK and a series of nationwide
dealer launch evenings.
Announcing the recommended retail price, Suzuki GB General Manager, Paul de Lusignan said, "There's been a great deal of speculation both in the media and on the many forums surrounding the price of the new V-Strom. Thanks to the great efforts of our engineers and colleagues back in Japan, I am pleased to confirm a recommended retail price that brings exceptional value to this segment of the market, but without compromise. The recommended retail price for the V-Strom 1000 will be £9,999 plus on the road charges."
As well as announcing the recommended retail price, de Lusignan also confirmed details of the nationwide dealer launch evenings coming up, adding, "UK customers will get the opportunity to see the early production-ready machine in the metal throughout October and November. We've been lucky enough to secure two models prior to the launch that will begin a tour of the UK, visiting authorised dealers every night during October and November. Details of these can be found on our website now."
Potential customers can also begin their decision process on colours, with Suzuki GB confirming the colour schemes coming to the UK market. The three options available will be - candy daring red, pearl glacier white and glass sparkle black.
