Mitsubishi Motors in the UK announces impressive results for September as the registration figures from SMMT reveal sales increased by 86.71 per cent in September alone.Year on year sales are up by 47.61 per cent, further establishing the car manufacturer
as the fastest growing car brand of 2013 in the UK.
Sales of all Mitsubishi's products have increased significantly this year. The two new products, supermini Mirage and the 7-seater SUV Outlander, have got off to a fantastic start. Sales of Mitsubishi's crossover ASX have increased significantly and the £5,000 price reduction on Shogun has transformed the sales performance on this vehicle.
Sales of the legendary Mitsubishi L200 are also up on last year. The pickup remains retail pickup market leader with 23.4 per cent of the market, year-to-date. In September it achieved 26 per cent of the retail market.
"2013 has been an exceptionally good year for us, it's clear to see we have made significant progress throughout this year with sales up by 47 per cent. New products have certainly helped us, as have the price reductions we've just announced. There really has never been a better time to buy a Mitsubishi," said Mitsubishi Motors in the UK's Managing Director, Lance Bradley.
