Kumho and Micheldever to renew their partnership agreement

Kumho Tyre (UK) Ltd. (KTUK) and Micheldever Tyre Services Ltd. (MTS) have announced that they have signed Heads of Agreement with a view to concluding a new three year deal which will see MTS retain its distributorship of Kumho brand tyres in mainland Britain,
the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.


MTS will continue to supply the ECSTA Performance Centre (EPC) network of independent retailers as well as its other key accounts and VMA business.

In a separate development, KTUK is to establish a direct sales facility of its own which will complement the operations of its UK distributors. Further details of the new facility will be announced in due course.

We will now be forging ahead with our joint plans to develop the network which is already the strongest of its kind in the UK, marketing what is arguably the best all-round brand programme in Kumho," said Paul Fox, CEO of Micheldever Tyre Services.

KTUK Managing Director K.M. Choe added, "Over the last few months our two organisations have created a unique platform which allows us both to work together to expand and enhance the presence of the Kumho brand in the UK market."
