Porsche Cars North America announces senior management changes

Michael Bartsch, Porsche Cars North America's outgoing Executive VP and COO who was recently promoted to run the Porsche organization in his home country of Australia, has decided to leave the company in order to pursue another opportunity.  Bartsch, who started
his Porsche career in Australia in 1984, has been COO of Porsche Cars North America since 2005.

Bartsch has been an excellent leader of the PCNA organization for the past eight years. He helped steer Porsche through the financial crisis in North America in 2008-2009 - and helped set the stage for Porsche's rapid growth and record sales the last two years.

As previously announced, Joe Lawrence, currently President and CEO of Porsche Cars Canada, is the incoming Executive Vice-President and COO of Porsche Cars North America. His appointment is set for September 1, 2013.
