Renault India sold 6,007 units in June

Renault India Pvt. Ltd. announced sales of 6,007 units in June 2013 amidst challenging market conditions. The company saw a year-on-year growth of nearly eight fold, with 787 units sold in June 2012.

"The Renault brand is continuing to see increasing visibility and acceptability
among Indian customers, despite a challenging market," said Sumit Sawhney, Executive Director, Marketing & Sales, Renault India Pvt. Ltd. "With the reliability and performance of Renault's products, the widespread reach of our dealer network as well as the growing customer recognition of our brand, we are confident of continued growth in the near term."

Renault India sold a total of 6,007 units, with the Duster accounting for 4,523 units, the Scala 772 units, Pulse 497 units, and Fluence 215 units.
