Volvo trucks delivers 9,689 vehicles in May, an increase of 4 per cent

In May 9,689 Volvo trucks were delivered, an increase of 4 per cent compared with the same month last year.

In Europe 3,556 vehicles were delivered during May, down 11 per cent compared with May 2012. An extensive product renewal is under way with five new
truck models; Volvo FH, Volvo FM, Volvo FMX, Volvo FE and Volvo FL. All the new models include innovations and features that make the driver's job easier and more efficient.

May deliveries in North America increased 10 per cent to 2,416 vehicles in comparison with the same period in 2012.  

Deliveries for South America increased 30 per cent in May to 2,178 commercial vehicles compared with May 2012. May deliveries in Brazil increased 40 per cent to 1,750 trucks compared with May 2012.
