Volkswagen Service Deutschland supports WorldSkills 2013

Volkswagen Service Deutschland supports the WorldSkills 2013 Competition. The cooperation agreement with the event organiser WorldSkills International has signed. Volkswagen Service Deutschland will be supporting the competition in the car painting (body
painter) and automobile technology (motor vehicle mechatronics technician) categories. WorldSkills takes place at the Leipzig Trade Fair exhibition center from July 2-7.

Arno Kalmbach, Head of Volkswagen Service Deutschland, was a contract signatory.

"Inspiring young people for vocational training and strengthening the reputation of crafts and apprenticeships is an essential task for the entire automobile industry," said Kalmbach.

"It is important to demonstrate to young people that qualified vocational training safeguards the future. In this context, our service partners offer a diverse spectrum of opportunities," he added.
