Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has announced that Frank Ludwig (42) has joined the company as Director of Manufacturing. In his previous role he was Director, Painted Body for BMW in Leipzig, Germany.
Frank joined BMW in 2002 as General Manager, Manufacturing Body
-in-White, at Mini in Oxford and is a highly experienced Production and General Manager. Prior to starting at BMW, he worked for a small premium car company in Germany. Frank replaces Jorg Bause, who leaves Rolls-Royce Motor Cars to take up a senior position at BMW South Africa (Pty) Ltd.
"I am delighted to welcome Frank to Rolls-Royce and to his new position heading the manufacturing team here at the Home of Rolls-Royce at Goodwood," said Torsten Muller-Otvos, CEO. "With his extensive experience, I am confident that he is ideally suited to further develop on the impressive results that have been achieved by Jorg Bause over the past three years."
