Volvo Canada announces 14.9 per cent increase in April sales

Volvo Cars of Canada Corp. reported 477 new vehicle sales in April, a 14.9 per cent increase over March of 2013 resulting in four straight months of increased sales. Last month also saw the sale of 154 certified pre-owned models through Volvo Canada's industry-leading CPO
program, a 37.5 per cent increase over March 2013.

The top sellers in March were the XC60 premium crossover and the S60 sport sedan which sold 158 and 117 respectively.

"We are pleased that sales continue to increase each month but are looking forward to building this momentum even further throughout 2013," said Marc Engelen, President & CEO, Volvo Cars of Canada Corp. "Our refreshed model lineup will only serve to create more enthusiasm for the brand as the year goes on."
