ADAC Postbus, which will soon begin intercity coach services in Germany jointly operated by Deutsche Post and the large German automobile club ADAC, has selected Scania as its vehicle supplier and service partner.
By spring 2014, ADAC Postbus will connect approximately
30 of the largest German cities with 63 Scania coaches. The new intercity coach service will be gradually expanded to comprise a national network.
"Scania's unique modular system enables us to deliver several attractive vehicle specifications and gives us the flexibility to meet customer demands," said Sales Director Frank Koschatzky, Scania Deutschland Osterreich. "In addition, we offer a comprehensive full-service concept together with Scania's proven low fuel consumption, high efficiency and reliability."
