Mitsubishi Motors UK appoints Kate Woodward as GM of Communications

Mitsubishi Motors in the UK announce the new appointment of Kate Woodward who replaces Andy Wertheim as General Manager of Communications.

Kate, who has been working for Mitsubishi Motors in the UK since 2002, brings a whole host of knowledge to the
position and has held various roles within the organisation including Marketing Communications Manager, Head of Corporate Sales & Remarketing and more recently General Manager of Sales Operations & Franchising. Kate will start her new position on June 1.

"Mitsubishi Motors in the UK is a well run Company, with excellent staff, management and products. I am thrilled to be back leading the Communications Team at this very exciting time for Mitsubishi Motors in the UK," said Kate.

To coincide with Kate's move, David Parry will take on the role of General Manager of Sales Operations & Franchising. David has been with Mitsubishi Motors in the UK for 12 years during which time he has gained immense experience as an Area Manager, Dealer Development & Franchising Manager, Corporate Sales Manager and most recently has been responsible for the After Sales Field Team and Technical Department. David starts in this position with immediate effect.

"The industry has been in a difficult place, and we are not immune to the challenges that this has presented, but thanks to the launch of new Mirage and the all-new Outlander, our sales figures so far this year are strong. I am looking forward to the future, heading up a good team with some exciting new products, and working with a dealer network that is robust and both financially and commercially viable," said David Parry.
