Honda announced a donation of $100,000 to the American Red Cross - Disaster Relief Fund, for use during humanitarian relief and recovery efforts in areas affected by the recent tornadoes in the Midwest. In addition, the company will donate Honda portable generators
to local relief agencies to aid in recovery and rebuilding efforts.
"Honda wants to support the many individuals and families devastated by the recent tornados in the Midwest," said Tetsuo Iwamura, President and Chief Executive Officer of American Honda Motor Co., Inc., and Chief Operating Officer of Honda's North American region. "As we have responded to past natural disasters, supporting the Red Cross and other local relief agencies is an effective way to quickly help those affected by the storms."
