RoadTrip, the award-winning free app from Vauxhall that provides drivers with a fast and simple way of tracking their business journeys, is now available on Android and iPad.
The app, which has had over 10,000 downloads on the iPhone platform and won the Business
Car Techie Award, now offers a new range of smart features for tracking business miles, such as the new vehicle look-up functionality to add vehicles through their registration numbers. All information is provided by CAP, making mileage claims for any vehicle from any manufacturer quick and easy.
Once your vehicle has been selected, the user enters their destination and the app will then plan the route, calculating the cost of the journey including mileage rates and other likely expenses.
Vauxhall recognises the amount of administration that is involved with business journeys. The newly added feature of RoadTrip Online allows the user to sync all their journeys to their work computer, whilst the apps' expense report previews can be emailed to the user's manager as CSV files, simplifying the administration process as much as possible by offering an end-to-end solution to the management of business journeys.
"When travelling on a daily basis, recurring expenses can cause frustration for employees," said James Taylor, Fleet Sales Director at Vauxhall. "The RoadTrip app combines navigational tools with smart calculation software to offer an easy-to-use app for any employee on the road."
