Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA) reported February US sales of 99,636 units, down 6.6 per cent from last year's record-setting February total of 106,731. Nissan Division sales in February totaled 90,489, down 7.2 per cent from the prior year, which also set a February
record. Infiniti deliveries totaled 9,147, down 1 per cent from last February.
"We expect 2013 to be strong year for Nissan, in spite of the increasingly competitive market. All-new versions of our iconic Altima, Sentra and Pathfinder are hitting their stride, and the Leaf, Versa Note and NV200 models will bring even more new buyers into Nissan showrooms in the coming months," said Al Castignetti, Vice-President, Nissan Division.
