As part of a planned programme to expand its UK training support services, Isuzu Truck UK has announced the appointment of Liam Doyle as Technical Trainer at the Hatfield based manufacturer.
In this newly created position, Liam Doyle will be reporting directly
to ITUK's General Manager of Training Tim Hicks and will be based at the company's head office. He will be responsible for updating and developing all current training courses at the company, as well as administering Isuzu's Master Tech curriculum.
Liam joins Isuzu Truck UK from Jaguar Land Rover, where he spent the last 12 months as regional training manager based in Dubai. There he looked after technical training in seven countries throughout the Middle East region. Prior to Jaguar Land Rover, Liam was responsible for training apprentices at VW's head office in Milton Keynes.
"Throughout 2013, we have an intensive programme of new training modules for both internal ITUK staff and our external dealer network. This has necessitated an additional training resource here at our head office. Liam's expertise at both Jaguar Land Rover and VW will be a major asset to our UK training operation," said Tim Hicks.
