Infiniti reported US sales of 9,147 units for February, a decrease of one per cent versus 9,239 units a year earlier. Calendar year-to-date sales for Infiniti are 16,273, up 1.5 per cent from 16,035 units in 2012.
Infiniti retailers reported continued strong sales of the company's
all-new JX 7-passenger luxury crossover at 2,300 units, while the QX full-size luxury SUV had sales of 1,059, allowing the brand's crossovers and sport utility vehicles to be up almost 59 per cent for the month.
"February is traditionally a transition month between winter and strong spring sales, but Infiniti's corporate partnership of NCAA Men's Basketball helped us continue the successful launch of the Infiniti JX," said Ben Poore, Vice-President, Infiniti Americas. "This vehicle is fulfilling its goal of bringing new buyers into our showroom, and has become our second most popular Infiniti product."
