Anders Grundstromer has been appointed as the new Managing Director, Scania Commercial Vehicles India Pvt. Ltd. and Senior Vice-President, Scania Group.
Anders Grundstromer is currently Executive Regional Director, Region Western and Southern Europe
at Scania. He succeeds Henrik Fagrenius, currently Managing Director at Scania Commercial Vehicles India Pvt Ltd. Henrik has been appointed Executive Regional Director for the Southern Africa, Asia and Oceania (AAO) region and member of Scania Group Management, as from February 1, 2013.
"During his time at Scania, Anders Grundstromer has gained innumerable experience that makes him highly suited to take over as Managing Director of Scania India. He takes over from Henrik Fagrenius who has successfully transformed and grown Scania's presence in India while maintaining the core values of the company," says Martin Lundstedt, President and CEO, Scania.

Anders Grundstromer is a Master of Business Management. After graduating in 1977, he started his career at SAAB - Car division and held several roles and responsibilities at various levels for over 15 years. In 1992 he joined Scania, and he was appointed Regional Sales Director Nordic and Eastern Region Europe in 1996. Anders took on the challenge to develop Scania distributorship concept in Europe as Managing Director Scania Czech Republic and Slovakia in 2000, and later as Managing Director of Scania in Netherlands and the BeNeLux Business Unit between 2004 and 2008. He was appointed Executive Regional Director, Region Western and Southern Europe (WSE) in 2008, and as of February 1, 2013 he will take up his new position as Managing Director, Scania Commercial Vehicles India and Senior Vice-President of Scania Group.
