Hartwell opens MG dealership in Grimsby

One of Britain's biggest and best known motor groups is about to open an MG dealership.

Hartwell will operate an MG dealership in Grimsby and becomes the eighth new MG dealership to open this year. The Hartwell group is 30th on the AM100 list of Britain's biggest
retail motor businesses.

The MG showrooms in Corporation Road, just off the A180, will sell the award-winning MG6 GT fastback and MG6 Magnette sports saloon with a 1.8-litre turbo-petrol engine from December alongside the newly launched 1.9-litre diesel DTi-Tech versions. An official opening event will take place on January 25.

"We're delighted to be representing the iconic MG brand. The new MG6 is a great product offering superb value for money but it’s also an exciting car to drive and certainly MG fans will recognise its heritage," said Dave Robertson, General Manager of Hartwell, Grimsby.

"MG fans in Lincolnshire have been waiting for the marque to make a comeback and I don't think any of them will be disappointed with the MG6. We're really looking forward to showing people the new car."

The other new MG dealerships which have been opened this year are: Beechwood in Derby, Pinkstone Cars in Stoke-on-Trent, Rivervale in Brighton, Charles Warner in Lincoln, Brown & Gammons in Baldock, Herts., Colleys in Cwmbran and Cambridge MG.
