The North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) 2013 has announced that Tier One automotive supplier, AISIN, has been named presenting sponsor of the 'Drive Green Experience' at the upcoming event, January 14-27, 2013.
"We're pleased to welcome
AISIN into the North American International Auto Show family," said Jim Seavitt, NAIAS Chairman. "In addition to our manufacturer partners, our sponsors are very important to NAIAS and its position as one of the top shows in the world. AISIN, for example, is one of the largest Tier One suppliers in the auto industry, and holds leadership positions in several product categories. We're glad to have them aboard, and welcome the new association."
"The new relationship with NAIAS creates a tremendous opportunity to build awareness for AISIN in North America," said John Koenig, President, AISIN Sales & Marketing.
"Globally, AISIN participates in motor shows in Beijing, Frankfurt, Paris, Shanghai and Tokyo, and we're extremely pleased to now be a part of NAIAS, one of the top auto and media events in the world," said Koenig. "Sustainability and earth friendliness are among our core values, and AISIN produces a number of components for EVs and hybrids, so it's fitting that we're involved in showcasing these types of vehicles at the AISIN Drive Green Experience at NAIAS in Detroit."
AISIN will also display a significant product exhibit in Michigan Hall representing various product groups and technologies, including brakes, navigation systems, body components, engine-related parts, electronics, intelligent transportation systems, and aftermarket products.
