Rolls-Royce launches new London showroom

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars launched the company's newly refurbished London showroom in Berkeley Square. The exclusive event, attended by customers and VIPs, was hosted by Torsten Muller-Otvos, Chief Executive.

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars London is one of the company's
most successful dealerships, having maintained its place in the top five global dealer ranking since the launch of Phantom in 2003. The location of the showroom in Berkeley Square is also steeped in Rolls-Royce heritage - Charles Stewart Rolls was born on Hill Street just to the West and he opened his first dealership on Conduit Street, two minute's walk to the East.

During the launch evening, Phantom Coupe Aviator was unveiled - the first time the car has been seen in public in the UK. Hand-built at the Home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, using the finest materials and traditional skills, the car is underpinned by the very best engineering and latest technology. It hints strongly at the company's past, but is also a Rolls-Royce Phantom that takes its place firmly in the 21st century. Inspired by Charles Stewart Rolls and the legend of the Schneider Trophy-winning Supermarine S6B (powered by a Rolls-Royce R-Type engine) of the early 1930s, the car includes an aluminium transmission tunnel, mahogany veneer and a Thommen aviation-grade clock. Just 35 examples of Phantom Coupe Aviator will be produced and the suite of exclusive design concepts, colour combinations and new materials will undoubtedly surprise and delight their owners.

"I am delighted to host this special event to mark the launch of the new Rolls-Royce Motor Cars London showroom," said Torsten Muller-Otvos. "This significant investment underlines our commitment to one of our leading dealerships and to our home market."
