Ford Motor Company of Canada, Limited remains Canada's top-selling automaker in September and year-to-date. Positive sales results were seen across the lineup with strong demand for Ford Focus, Mustang and Taurus which saw increases of 7 per cent,
22 per cent, and 75 per cent, respectively.
The all-new Escape is keeping up the momentum as sales increase 21 per cent.
"Ford and Lincoln products are in high demand in Canada," said Dianne Craig, President and CEO, Ford of Canada. "Consumers are able to choose from a wide range of fuel-efficient engines that meet their needs, have the flexibility they want and experience class exclusive technologies like the Hands Free Liftgate in the 2013 Escape."
F-150 sales continued to rise with a 3 per cent increase in September. In addition, combined Ford CUV and SUV sales rose 12 per cent, powered by Explorer with a 7 per cent increase.
