East London Hyundai opens for business

Hyundai is set to grow its presence east of London with the opening of a brand new dealership in Romford, Essex.

Alongside Hyundai's European President, Tak Uk Im, Bill Cook, Director of Essex Motor Company, cut the ribbon at the official opening of East London Hyundai's
new premises.

Built on the site of an old truck workshop, East London Hyundai was constructed virtually from scratch and now boasts the largest single franchise showroom of any Hyundai dealership in the UK.

"We are honoured to have President Im here to unveil our flagship dealership. The site has been completely transformed into what is an attractive and professional facility where customers can benefit from top-class new and used Hyundai vehicle sales backed-up by a dedicated team of service and maintenance technicians," said Bill Cook. "Owning and operating our other Hyundai dealerships in Southend, Basildon and Chelmsford means we have a close understanding of our region and customer base and we are delighted to officially open East London Hyundai."

The 595 m2 showroom, which can accommodate up to 17 of Hyundai's new products, forms the centrepiece of the facility and caters for new car customers in both the retail and corporate sector. East London Hyundai also sells approved used Hyundais, while the upgraded workshop and servicing department ensures existing customers receive the desired level of aftersales service and professionalism.
