Audi India drives into Kanpur with the opening of its first showroom in Uttar Pradesh

Audi announced the opening of its new showroom in Kanpur, which is its first showroom in Uttar Pradesh. The entire Audi India model range will be available for sale in Kanpur. This world-class showroom was inaugurated by Rahil Ansari, Head - Dealer Development,
Audi India and Gautam Garg, Managing Director, Audi Kanpur (Four Wheels Auto Private Limited).

Located in the heart of Kanpur city and spread over a total area of 4,000 sq ft., Audi Kanpur showroom has a honeycomb aluminum facade on the exterior with a display area that can accommodate 5 Audi cars. Audi Kanpur will also house an Audi Shop and the Audi Exclusive elements, where customers can order customised products and purchase a variety of Audi branded merchandise.

Audi Kanpur will also manage the exclusive Audi service facility, located on Kanpur-Lucknow Road. This facility is spread over an area of 12,000 sq ft and has a capacity to service 10 cars per day in a single shift on a total of 6 bays. The technicians at the facility are trained to ensure world-class service to the customers.

"To tap further into the underlying growth potential of the luxury automotive market of India, we have chalked out our dealer expansion strategy to reach the maximum number of potential buyers across the country. It is important for us to be present wherever our customer is and in line with this commitment, we have already expanded our base to 22 dealerships across the country. By the end of 2012, we will have at least 25 dealers pan-India. We are looking at expanding our footprint to Lucknow next," said Michael Perschke.
