With the establishment of a location in China, the Porsche Consulting GmbH management consultancy firm, based in Bietigheim-Bissingen, Germany, carries forward its systematic international growth strategy. With headquarters in Shanghai, Porsche Consulting Ltd. will be
launched at the onset of 2013. After Italy, Brazil and the United States, it will be the fourth foreign branch of the consultancy firm.
"To be present with our own office in Shanghai allows us to provide support to current and future clients in China and other countries in the Far East far better and even more directly," says Eberhard Weiblen, President and CEO of Porsche Consulting GmbH. In Asia, Porsche Consulting is focusing primarily on the automotive industry, aeronautics and space as well as machine building at present. The team in Shanghai will be managed by Dr. Heiko Rauscher, who sees the need for consultancy clearly: "We provide support to companies in China in mastering their strong growth in organisational terms while boosting productivity at the same time," says the future Shanghai CEO.
In the meantime, the number of employees of Porsche Consulting GmbH continues to grow steadily. "By the end of 2012, we will have hired a total of 50 new employees. This augmentation of our capacity allows us to meet the persistently high demand," explained Weiblen. Industrial engineers, engineers with a focus on automotive, aeronautics and space as well as machine building plus economists and change management experts round off the shopping list of what's needed. The requirement profile includes several years of professional experience, a focus on implementation and international training. The new Shanghai location is still seeking staff as well. Beyond the requisite professional qualifications, candidates should have knowledge of the Chinese language and culture.
