Mercedes-Benz has developed an extensive accessories line for the A-class. Due to the wide range of options made to high Mercedes-Benz standards, this sporty compact car can be precisely configured to personal tastes.
Infotainment is the focus of the new
accessories line. The Drive Kit Plus for iPhone, used in conjunction with Daimler's very own Digital DriveStyle app, enables a seamless integration of iPhone and A-class. Highlights include the advanced satellite navigation system from Garmin with real-time, web-based traffic information, special online destination search featuring Street View and 3D map display. Other functions include Facebook, Twitter and Aupeo! Personal Radio.
The new Mercedes-Benz phone module with Bluetooth (SAP)* also incorporates a host of multimedia functions. This mobile phone module with integrated UMTS module and direct link to the exterior aerial ensures a fast, stable and secure internet connection for Comand Online. At the same time as making a phone call, one can use Mercedes-Benz apps and have text messages read out loud.
Scaled-down for compact cars such as the A-class, the new roof box 400 fits onto the innovative, model-specific Alustyle Quickfix carrier bars. It has a capacity of 400 litres, and is 70 cm wide and 40 cm high, but just 190 cm in length. This allows the rear door of the new A-class to be opened even when the roof box 400 is mounted. Special handles, 80 cm in length and made from an anodised aluminium profile, make it easier to open and close. The box has an unladen weight of approx. 16 kg and can accommodate a payload of 75 kg.
With the new accessories line, customers can enhance the sporty look of their new A-class. The MercedesSport product range includes a spoiler lip for the front apron, a gleaming black radiator grill, gleaming black exterior mirror casing and waistline trim strip, a roof spoiler and rear apron trims with a
diffuser look. A variety of light-alloy wheels complete the original accessories line for the A-class.
Original accessories are available now from Mercedes-Benz sales partners.
* Available from 4th quarter 2012. Only in conjunction with convenience telephony (Code 386)
