In April 2012, Peugeot kicked-off a nationwide talent tour to celebrate the launch of the new Peugeot 208 by giving people all across the country the chance to show off their dancing skills and win a trip to Ibiza, with the ‘Let Your Body Drive’ campaign.
The talent tour,
inspired by the amazing new ‘Let Your Body Drive’ video from US internet dance sensation Marquese Scott, AKA ‘Nonstop’, has visited five cities so far including London, Birmingham, Bristol, Sheffield and Manchester. From these cities, a staggering 50,000 people have been wowed by the live demos given by ‘Super Malcolm’ and his crew, with many having been encouraged to step up and record a short performance of their own on the ‘Body Dance’ stage.
The video, choreographed entirely by Marquese Scott and shot in a single take, launched the ‘Let Your Body Drive’ campaign at the beginning of April and has since followed in Scott’s other videos’ footsteps, totting up a massive 1.5-million views.
The ‘Let Your Body Drive’ campaign is about to reach its climax shortly with only a couple more chances to get involved with the ‘Body Dance’ stage and be in with the chance of winning the amazing holiday to Ibiza. It returns to the Bullring in Birmingham this weekend (June 1-4) and then heads to the final location at the Westfield, Stratford in London on June 8, to see ‘Super Malcolm’ and his crew looking for the next big dance star, and potential prize winner.
The dance theme continues with the ‘208 Body Drive Dancers’ performing regularly each day on the Peugeot stand at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, June 29-July 1.
