Trade Van Driver, one of the UK's top van magazines for small business users, has announced the winners of its 2012 Trade Van Driver awards, with the Isuzu Grafter 3.5-t rigid truck winning the award for 'Best Builder’s Truck 2012'.
According to the judges, “The Isuzu Grafter
has long been a popular choice within the building fraternity. Known for its proven reliability, robust build quality and its workhorse functionality, the Isuzu Grafter ticks all the boxes for the builder.”
At a presentation held recently during the CV Show, Isuzu Truck’s Managing Director Nikki King received the award from Trade Van Driver editor Matthew Eisenegger.
The TVD Awards aim to give recognition to the manufacturers who, in the opinion of the judges, offer the very best to retail van buyers. In choosing the winners for each category, the entrants are not only judged by journalists from the publication, but also by a panel of readers who use light commercial vehicles as part of their everyday business.
“For many people involved in the building and construction industries, the Isuzu 3.5-tonne Grafter is the proven workhorse of their fleet. Over the years, they have built a reputation for being reliable week in, week out despite the quite often arduous working conditions. For this to be recognised by winning this award, voted for by both operators and TVD, is testament to the strength and popularity of the Grafter range,” said Keith Child, Marketing Director at Isuzu Truck.
