Audi and Lamborghini roll into World Ducati Week 2012

In the final run-up to the start of World Ducati Week 2012, Ducati announce Audi as the event’s official car partner, the premium automotive brand proudly displaying in the Misano paddock and further enhancing excitement on the track. Super sports car
manufacturer, Lamborghini, also joins the party, introducing two flagship models to the thousands of Ducatisti expected at the seventh edition of the Italian motorcycle manufacturer’s massive gathering June 21-24.

As official car partner, Audi will supply a range of premium models to support Ducati staff and management during the WDW2012 event, entitled The Planet of the Champions, and provide a static display of a wide range of current Audi models, like the new S6, S8 and the R8 LMS, which will be supported by Audi personnel to explain the technical details behind these prestigious models. In addition, famous motorsport personalities will be available for exciting conversation at the Audi event area.

For those seeking an adrenaline-filled experience around the Misano circuit, Audi will also be offering WDW-goers the opportunity to passenger the highly desirable R8 LMS and R8 V10 in the capable hands of Audi’s professional drivers. Places for the white-knuckle, 500+ horsepower experience will be awarded via the Audi raffle, from which valuable Audi driving experience vouchers can also be won.

Ducati’s Sant’Agata Bolognese neighbour, Lamborghini, is also preparing to inject some additional wow-factor into WDW2012 with its stunning Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale and Aventador LP 700-4 on show in the fun-packed Misano paddock. Like Ducati, the legendary marque is proudly situated in what the region calls 'Motor Valley' and their head-turning super cars are sure to be a massive hit with Ducati’s passionate fans of performance.
