Bodil Eriksson has been appointed as new Senior Vice-President of Public Affairs at Volvo Car Corporation.
Bodil Eriksson has previously held the positions Senior Vice-President Corporate Communications at the Swedish companies SCA and Axfood, both listed on
the Stockholm stock exchange. She also had the same function at Volvo Car Corporation during the period 1998-2000. Bodil Eriksson recently left a position as Executive Vice-President at the leading private Pharmacy retailer, Apotek Hjartat, where she was in charge of Brand strategy and execution, Marketing and Communications.
"Volvo Car Corporation is undergoing a great and rapid transformation, attracting global attention. It is one of the most challenging senior communications positions and I'm looking forward to join Volvo Car Corporation again," says Bodil Eriksson.
She will be part of the Executive Management Team and will report to President and CEO Stefan Jacoby.
"Bodil Eriksson has a strong record from senior positions and I am pleased that she has accepted to return to Volvo Car Corporation. In today's media landscape there are high demands - both internally and externally - for swift, correct and clear information, and with Bodil's broad experience in communications, she is definitely the right person to lead this work," says Stefan Jacoby.
Bodil Eriksson will start her new assignment at Volvo Car Corporation in August.
