Masanori Nohara appointed Executive Director and Co-ordinator, Toyota (GB)

Toyota announced the appointment of Masanori Nohara as Executive Director and Co-ordinator of Toyota (GB) PLC.

Nohara took up his new role with the company on April 1, reporting to Jon Williams, President and Managing Director. He has enjoyed a
successful career with Toyota spanning 25 years, including senior positions in Japan and Europe with Toyota Motor Corporation, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Europe and Toyota Motor Europe.

Immediately prior to his latest appointment, Nohara was a Project General Manager with Toyota Motor Europe, based in Nagoya, Japan. He is married with two school age sons, and in his time away from work he enjoys scuba diving (he is a qualified instructor), walking and golf.

Toyota (GB) recently bade farewell to another Japanese colleague, Naoya Taniguchi, who served as company Chairman from 2009. Taniguchi has taken up a new senior position with Toyofuji Shipping, a TMC subsidiary business.
