For the fourth year in succession, Welsh dealership, David Taylor Garages Ltd., of Crickhowell, Powys, has won the annual 'Isuzu Dealer of the Year' title.
The prestigious accolade is presented to the UK dealer that sells the highest number of Isuzu vehicles
over the course of a year. David Taylor Garages delivered more than 200 new vehicles to customers during 2011 – the first Isuzu dealership to achieve this landmark. The dealership already holds three records – first to sell 100 Isuzu Troopers, first to sell 100 Isuzu Rodeos and first to sell 100 Isuzu vehicles in a single month.
“Isuzu offers a strong and versatile product range, and the Rodeo has been the perfect utility vehicle for the rugged terrain we have here in Wales,” commented Dealer Principal, Gene Taylor. “The strength of the product and the Isuzu brand have immense appeal to local farmers and forestry workers, which has allowed us to build up a large and loyal customer base in this predominantly agricultural community."
"Winning the ‘Isuzu Dealer of the Year’ award for the fourth year running is excellent recognition for our hard-working staff and acknowledges not only our customers’ loyalty to the brand, but also the strong relationship we enjoy with Isuzu UK," concluded Taylor.
An Isuzu dealer since 1988, David Taylor has sold over 1,000 vehicles for the famous Japanese pick-up firm, with its success borne out of great service, a true understanding of the product and the needs of the local consumers.
General Manager of Isuzu UK, William Brown, added, "We are delighted to recognise one of our longest-standing and most successful dealerships with this exclusive award. David Taylor Garages displays best practice in sales, customer relationship management and aftersales care. The business is a high profile example of the dedication and commitment to the brand that have contributed to consistent year-on-year sales growth for the Isuzu brand in the UK. Such excellence will serve the David Taylor Garages and the entire nationwide Isuzu network well as we look forward to the June launch of the all-new Isuzu D-Max pick-up.”
