KH-7 and HRT Formula 1 Team have signed a sponsorship deal through which the leading brand in degreaser products will have its image present on the cars and drivers’ overalls.
The deal, which was signed between Josep Maria Lloreda, President of KH Lloreda, and
Saul Ruiz de Marcos, CEO of HRT F1 Team, at the team’s new headquarters, located at the Caja Magica in Madrid, will be in force until the end of the season, although it could be extended. As a result, KH-7 becomes the first Spanish cleaning products brand to be present in the Formula 1 World Championship.
KH Lloreda has chosen the pinnacle of motorsport and HRT Formula 1 Team, the first and only team in the history of this championship to have a headquarters in Spain, to begin its strategy of internationalising and opening up to foreign markets.
"In the last few years we have consolidated a position of leadership in our country and now we’ve decided to take a step forward and look to expand internationally. To count with such an impressive showcase as is Formula 1 will help us to have great visibility and we strongly believe that this will aid our chances of consolidating ourselves in foreign markets. The only route we contemplated was joining HRT because, just like us, they are also a Spanish brand looking to position themselves internationally. We also share values such as teamwork, effort, a willingness to overcome anything and passion, and I could add that those values are embodied by the figure of Pedro MartÃnez de la Rosa, for whom I’ve got special admiration," said Josep Maria Lloreda.
Saul Ruiz de Marcos said, "Associating with Spanish companies and brands has been one of the team’s priorities since we started renovating. Companies with which we share principles and look to grow with in order to become the best ambassadors for those brands throughout the world. KH-7 and Josep Maria Lloreda are the perfect example that by innovating, making the most of your opportunities but, above all, through hard work and dedication big things can be accomplished. And despite the fact that we are young and are facing a huge challenge, at HRT we also hope to achieve big things and do so alongside KH-7."
