With the winter weather on the way out, it will soon be time blow away the cobwebs with a blast in the spring sunshine. For the 2012 summer season, Shark Helmets has added two further offerings to its already extensive 2012 collection – the Evoline S3 and
S900C.
An upgrade to the popular Evoline S2, the Evoline S3 is a multi-functional helmet, which can be transformed from full-face to open-face with the push of a button. The chin bar now includes an auto-up opening system, which when moving into the backwards/open position takes the visor up with it. The Evoline S3 is the only flip-front helmet on the market to feature a chin bar that moves 180 degrees.
Shark’s racing development on all new helmets, the aerodynamic capability of the S3 has been improved and noise reduction in open and closed positions has been reduced. The weight has also been reduced and the Evoline S3 now weighs the same as a standard full-face helmet. There is a new interior and lining, a UV 400 filter sunshield and also Sharks ‘Easy Fit’ system for glasses. The Evoline S3 is available in a variety of colours and designs, and is priced from £299.99.
The other new lid on the block is the S900C, which is a whole new concept for the French brand – an air fit system helmet. Shark has added a pump device to the popular S900 series to boost comfort and fit, with an L-shaped inner chamber that inflates next to the cheek and chin when pumped-up. The helmet also benefits from Shark’s research into new aerodynamics, and has increased ventilation and better noise reduction. As with the Evoline S3, the S900C has a new interior and lining and a UV 400 filter sunshield. The S900C is available in a variety of colours and designs, and priced from £179.99.
Both helmets will be available in Shark dealers from mid-March, to find your local stockist visit, Nevis Marketing.
